Neurodynamic Breathwork
Medical & Psychiatric Contraindications

Neurodynamic Breathwork (NDB) can involve experiences accompanied by very strong emotional and physical releases as well as physiological changes in the body. Therefore, for safety purposes, in most circumstances we do not allow persons with the following conditions to participate in a NDB session:

Physical

Aneurysms
Asthma (unless you have your inhaler available)
Cardiovascular disease or irregularities
Detached retina
Epilepsy
Glaucoma
High Blood Pressure not controlled with medication
History of strokes or seizures
Osteoporosis
Pregnancy
Prescription blood thinning/anti-clotting medication

Psychiatric

Bipolar Disorder
Schizophrenia
Hospitalization for psychiatric condition in past 10 years
Attempted suicide
PTSD (unless currently in therapeutic care)
